A Daze in the Life

 It’s been a very quiet day. Unusually quiet. Haven’t heard a cheep out of the usual suspects all day. Which probably means they’ll be up all night.  And by extension, I’ll probably be up all night too. Just as well I have Netflix and an excellent set of earphones to drown out some of the noise.  Today’s movie: Get Hard

I'm starting this blog to remind myself of how and where I've been spending my time.  Currently I'm in Whiteford House, Ayr - where I've been since the 11th of March 2024.  Before that I was in South Lodge on Racecourse Road, Ayr.  Of the two, I definitely prefer being here.  I finally got my computer rescued from the house so that's making life considerably more bearable.  My major complaint is some of the residents here are frankly, a total nightmare.  I'm usually up till about 2 or 3 in the morning because it's the only time I get any peace.  And even then it's not guaranteed.   In other news, the house in Troon where I lived for a large portion of the first 50+ years of my life has now been sold.  Mixed feelings about that. I had tickets for Bruce Springsteen in Liverpool earlier this week, but couldn't go because the transport arrangements fell through - and to be honest my mobility is currently so bad it would have been pretty much...
