First Post - June 9th, 2025

I'm starting this blog to remind myself of how and where I've been spending my time.  Currently I'm in Whiteford House, Ayr - where I've been since the 11th of March 2024.  Before that I was in South Lodge on Racecourse Road, Ayr.  Of the two, I definitely prefer being here.  I finally got my computer rescued from the house so that's making life considerably more bearable.  My major complaint is some of the residents here are frankly, a total nightmare.  I'm usually up till about 2 or 3 in the morning because it's the only time I get any peace.  And even then it's not guaranteed.  

In other news, the house in Troon where I lived for a large portion of the first 50+ years of my life has now been sold.  Mixed feelings about that.

I had tickets for Bruce Springsteen in Liverpool earlier this week, but couldn't go because the transport arrangements fell through - and to be honest my mobility is currently so bad it would have been pretty much impossible anyway.

Anyway, here's what my room currently looks like.  More of this to follow, if I remember...
